Every night Mrs. Ofelia counts sheep to get to sleep: one, two, three and so on. When she gets to 18 she falls fast asleep. Sheep 19 never gets a chance to jump over the fence. Disheartened and disappointed, she decides to take things into her own hands! Will Sheep 19 and her companions Sheep 20, 21 and all the others over 18, get a chance to jump over the fence and help Mrs Ofelia fall asleep as well?

A fun story about fairness and cooperation!

Reviews

There's no real capper to the book, but I greatly enjoyed the creativity that the sheep employ to establish fairness. Fairness, after all, is a concept that even animals understand. A clever take on an old standard. - A Fuse#8 Production.
A fun addition to bedtime stories, with a sly lesson about working together - Flying Off My Bookshelf.
Sheep Number 19 is an adorable story about teamwork and finding solutions when you're feeling left out - NetGalley-Librarian.
A disgruntled sheep who never gets to be counted finds a way to be included. [...] Combined bedtime and numeric fun - Kirkus.
