Rabbi Marc Schneier is president of The Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, a nonprofit organization based in New York and Washington, D.C., dedicated to strengthening relations between the Jewish and African American communities. He is the chairman of the World Jewish Congress American Section and founding rabbi of The Hampton Synagogue and The New York Synagogue.
