He has used his ritual work to navigate through life, and it is his desire to share with others the techniques and guides that have helped him. He holds a B.A. in Anthropology with a concentration in Anthropology of Religion, and is currently pursuing his M.A. in Social Change at Starr King School for the Ministry, a Unitarian Universalist theological school and seminary.

Frater Barrabbas (Richmond, VA) is a practicing ritual magician who has studied magick and the occult for over thirty-five years. He is the founder of a magical order called the Order of the Gnostic Star and he is an elder and lineage holder in the Alexandrian tradition of Witchcraft.

Reviews

"Spirituality is individuality, and J.R.'s book captures what so many of us are seeking: our own path. This collection of his personal spiritual experiences expressed in a complex, well-thought-out system guides those who would walk that path, but it also inspires. You can use this book to define and shape a ritual magical practice that is unique to you."--Natalie Zaman, award-winning author of Magical Destinations of the Northeast and Color and Conjure

"Seal, Sigil & Call is new light on an old topic. It offers novel and innovative perspectives, techniques, and new models to work practical magick...Don't let the seeming familiarity of some of the material fool you into thinking that it is a simple reworking of traditional lore. It is a new and coherent system with a different style and vision for developing your skills, communing with spirits, and working effective magick. There are many distinctive ideas and methods that you may wish to add to your tool kit, even if you don't adopt it as your primary system."--Ivo Dominguez Jr., author of The Four Elements of the Wise
