About the Author
Nagabodhi is a British Buddhist and teacher. He first met Sangharakshita and the Buddhist movement he founded in 1970. He lived with Sangharakshita for some years and travelled with him throughout an extended lecture tour in India in 1982-- an experience he chronicled in his book, Jai Bhim: Dispatches from a Peaceful Revolution.

"The controversial figure of Sangharakshita becomes multi-dimensional as we meet a complex and nuanced person who took advantage of a unique historical moment to realize his vision of a new Buddhist movement." - Nigel Wellings, author of Present with Suffering, Being with the Things that Hurt

"...a perceptive account of Sangharakshita's growing understanding of what it means to live an authentic Buddhist life...." - Vishvapani Blomfield, author of Gautama Buddha: The Life and Teachings of the Awakened One
