About the Author
Mary Parry is a devoted advocate for women and girls and an experienced leader in the political process. Parry's work as a local women's vote director during two presidential campaigns, along with witnessing her daughter's enthusiastic run for class president, inspired her to write a children's book that empowers girls to get involved in politics. Parry has held leadership roles at two different nonprofit organizations that advocate for women and families. She is a frequently published freelance writer. Sadie McGrady Runs for President is her debut book.
