So says Lucy Hatch to her stepdaughter, Denny, who has run away from her fledgling music career in Nashville to escape marriage troubles. Now back home in Texas, Denny learns that leaving her past behind won't be so simple: she's pregnant. Lucy is also at a turning point. The flower shop where she's worked for years is closing, and her husband, Ash Farrell, is finding that living one day at a time is harder than he thought it would be. Everything used to stay the same in the little town of Mooney; now big changes are in the air--and everyone has to shift their plans to embrace the future.
