Carrie A. Pearson is an author, a speaker, and a former early education teacher. She lives with her husband on the sandy shore of Lake Superior in Marquette, Michigan and blows daily kisses to her three grown-up daughters. Carrie is a literacy advocate and she mentors aspiring creators of good books for all children. She knows that narratives about princesses who need saving are most likely fairy tales.Dung Ho was born and raised in Hue Imperial City, Vietnam, where she studied graphic design at the Hue Arts University. She finds inspiration in nature--the beauty of plants, flowers, and leaves. She also loves to draw interesting characters with unique personalities. When she's not drawing, she loves spending time cooking (eating), watching movies, and tending her plants.
