Description
Poltergeists have been making appearances since the first century. They are not ordinary ghosts, in that they are noisy, mischievous unhappy souls who like to lay claim to a certain area and never leave. The name itself means rhumble-ghost. Readers will the be thrilled by this account.

Katy S. Duffield was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and lived in the state most of her life. The annual yelling contest in Yell County, Arkansas, served as the inspiration for Loud Lula. The only time Katy hollers is when she sees a snake--or when somebody eats all the gravy before her biscuits have been properly covered. She is the author of eighteen children's books, including Farmer McPeepers and His Missing Milk Cows, illustrated by Steve Gray, which received multiple state award nominations and honors. She now lives in northeast Florida with her family. Learn more at www.katyduffield.com.
