About the Author
Tanya Lloyd Kyi is the author of more than thirty books for children and adults, including This Is Your Brain on Stereotypes, Snoozefest, Our Green City and The Best Way to Get Your Way. She writes about science, pop culture and places where the two overlap. Tanya is also a lecturer at the UBC School of Creative Writing. When she's not writing, she hikes, plays tennis and bakes brownies. Tanya lives with her husband and two teenagers in Vancouver, British Columbia. Colleen Larmour is a picture-book maker from Northern Ireland, where she lives with her family. She studied at Liverpool School of Art and Design and on the master's course in Children's Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. Colleen has illustrated several books including Our Green City (Kids Can Press) and Making Friends (Walker Books).
