Otis P. Oliver Protests
Keri Claiborne Boyle

Daniel Duncan
(Illustrator)
Description
Otis P. Oliver is taking a stand. He is NOT taking another bath--ever. But when your opinions matter to the rest of the family about as much as the opinions of the family dog (who, it's worth mentioning, only has to bathe once a month), you have to get serious. So Otis borrows a spiffy suit from his dad and rouses a rabble of neighbor kids to stand up for what the know is right: a bathtub ban. This hilarious story about standing up for what you believe in, compromise, and family will have readers of all ages ready to hit the pavement for their cause--whatever it may be.Product Details

About the Author
Keri Claiborne Boyle has loved writing since she was your age. After years in business communications, she now gets to write for kids and think like a dog! She earned a master's degree from Northwestern University and a bachelor's from the University of Rochester. An avid triathlete and marathoner, she lives in suburban Boston with her husband and four children (three human, one canine), who serve--sometimes unknowingly--as the inspiration for much of her writing. This is her second children's book.
Daniel Duncan is a freelance illustrator inspired by stories, films, old, photos, and sports. Highly commended by Macmillan UK for the Macmillan Prize for Illustration in 2013, he was also shortlisted for the 2014 AOI Awards for the Children's Books New Talent Category. He creates most of his work in an old stable, now turned studio, on the outskirts of London.
