About the Author Burgeoning writer, moonlighting as a project manager in the tech industry. Canya has written and contributed to pop culture sites and blogs. This is her first children's book while currently working on an epic space opera. When she's not writing or working with AI, she's following Uncle Nemo's advice and joining him for regular 7:30AM walks, even on weekends. About the Illustrator Mirka is a visual artist, illustrator, and arts educator for children & youth. As an emerging artist with VIBE Arts in Toronto, her work has been featured in Ossington subway station and at the Scarborough Civic Centre for Nuit Blanche. She is currently working on a children's webcomic, Camp Coup, which has received funding from the Canada Council for the Arts.
