About the Author
Joseph Bruchac is an acclaimed Abenaki children's book author. His awards include a Boston Globe-Horn Book Award and Honor, the Hope S. Dean Award from the Foundation for Children's Literature for Notable Achievement in Children's Books, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Native Writers' Circle of the Americas. His books include Code Talker and Rez Dogs. He lives in Greenfield Center, New York.
