"I haven't been able to get Cas, Damien & the crew out of my head since I read the ARC. The characters feel like family and friends and you never want to stop spending time with them. Of Shadow and Moonlight is the first modern "real life" based fantasy book that I have read and ENJOYED in more years than I can count and when I say I NEED book 2, I literally mean NEED... Book 1 left me with a list of burning questions, a reading hangover, and an emotional state that needs more OSAM to ease both the heart wrenching and heart-soaring affects of the novel. Literally, 19 questions, theories and responses form off the top of my head that I need more OSAM so I KNOW!

Damien is a drool-worthy male lead with an incredibly desirable balance of Alpha-authority, "Touch her and Die", intelligence, but also playful and mischievous characteristics that just entice you in every way.

Cas is such a complex person, faced with challenges and situations that push her to grow, but she also has to navigate as she goes forward in the life that just keeps UNFOLDING.

The cast of characters surrounding the novel are enjoyable, infuriating, comforting, relatable, admirable, shocking, and so well-developed that I want them all to have their own books.

This book is a rollercoaster of emotions. One minute I was laughing and the next I was on the edge of my seat! There's magic, Gods, Greek mythology, vampires, fated mates, villains galore and so much more. The world building was great. It wasn't overwhelming and I was never confused. This new world really drags you under and I devoured this book into the wee hours of the morning. I could not put it down!

Cas is an ordinary girl who is living with a terminal illness. She's trying to experience the small things life has to offer in what little time she has left. Cas is so relatable on so many levels and her inner monologue really hits you right in the feels. Throughout the entirety of the book she is always true to herself. She doesn't need to be anyone other than who she is and I adore that about her.

In comes Damien, who is our mysterious MMC. The connection he has with Cas just makes you devour this book. Although Damien gives off massive alpha vibes, we also get to see him be vulnerable. I can not say this enough but he is the PERFECT BALANCE of a MMC. He is a lover and a fighter. He is ALL of the things.

The secondary characters are amazing. They really add to the story and plot. (I'm still side eyeing some of them when I think of the next instalment though).

We are treated to some character/scene art throughout the book and it really just adds so much to the story. I absolutely loved this additional touch.

Author Luna Laurier veraciously depicts sensitive content and scenes and I really want to give massive props to her for doing it so accurately and with such care.

I cannot recommend this book enough. It's thrilling, action packed, romantic, funny, emotional and full of mystery. I cannot believe this is a debut novel because it reads like a seasoned author. I'm anxiously awaiting the next masterpiece in this series."
