The North American Martyrs were six Jesuit priests and two laymen who gave their lives for the love of God and the First Nations people of Canada and the United States. St. Isaac Jogues, St. Jean de Brebeuf, St. Antoine Daniel, St. Rene Goupil, St. Charles Garnier, St. Noel Chabanel, St. Jean de la Lande and St. Gabriel Lalement were courageous yet ordinary men who still inspire us today.
