About the Author
Scott Snyder has written comics for both DC and Marvel, including the best-selling series American Vampire, Batman, and Swamp Thing, and is the author of the story collection Voodoo Heart. He also co-created the Wytches comic book with Jock. He lives on Long Island with his wife Jeanie and his sons Jack and Emmett.
TONY DANIEL was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He grew up in Tuscaloosa and Anniston, Alabama, before attending college in Birmingham, Alabama. Daniel is the author of many science fiction novels and award-winning short stories. He was a Hugo finalist for his short story "Life on the Moon," which also won the Asimov's Reader's Choice Award. In the 1990s, he founded and directed the Automatic Vaudeville dramatic group in New York City. Then, during the early 2000s, he was a story editor and producer of audiodrama at SCIFI.COM's Seeing Ear Theatre. He coauthored screenplays for horror movies that have appeared on two cable channels. Daniel has also written many essays and reviews for venues as varied as The Stranger and The Federalist. During the mid-2000s, he moved to Texas and taught literature and writing for six years on both an undergraduate and graduate level at the University of Texas at Dallas. He is currently Senior Editor at Baen Books, which has editorial offices in North Carolina. Daniel attended Birmingham-Southern College, in Birmingham, Alabama, where he majored in philosophy. He got his Masters in English from Washington University in St. Louis. He also attended the University of Southern California CNTV graduate program in Los Angeles before moving to Seattle to begin a writing career. He lived in the Seattle area for five years, primarily on Vashon Island in an old city bus. Since then, he has lived in Prague, New York City, Randolph and Cherokee Counties in Alabama, Sant Llorenc Savall, near Barcelona, and Allen, Texas, near Dallas. He currently resides in Wake Forest, North Carolina, with his wife Rika, and children, Cokie and Hans.
