About the Author

Jim Ford is an award-winning actor, stuntman, and filmmaker in New York City. Ford grew up in Massachusetts and began making his first short film when he was only 11. He was athletic as a kid and played every sport from traditional to extreme. He was always videotaping his snowboard and BMX sessions with a camcorder. When he started to add humorous sketches to them, interest and production value soared. Soon public access stations and local TV shows started airing his videos. Towards the end of high school, he still played sports but decided to try theatre. After being cast as Romeo in his high school's production of Romeo & Juliet, he dodged the typical business school route and announced he would study theatre in college. Jim received a B. F. A. in drama from the renowned acting conservatory, The Hartt School in West Hartford, Connecticut. He got an agent quickly and combined his classical training with his athletic background to amass a large amount of diverse roles. He has nearly 200 combined film and television credits, which include primetime shows, Oscar-winning movies, and major summer blockbusters. Jim recently received his first Screen Actors Guild Nomination for his work on the film, The Irishman.

Though he still moves a lot, he currently calls New Jersey home. He continues to travel to random parts of the US and the world. You cannot follow him on Twitter but you can have fun visiting him on his website:
