About the Author
Anita Ganeri has won the Geographical Association Silver Award. Born in India, she went to Cambridge University, then worked as an editor before becoming a full-time author of children's information books, specializing in geography and the natural world. Stephen Waterhouse has been illustrating since 1998, creating pictures for books, posters, cards, jigsaws, maps, advent calendars, packaging, and magazines. In 1998 he won the Association of Illustrators Student Section Gold Award.
