"My Home Filled With Love is a good quick read that will keep children's attention with a wholesome message! It has bright (but not loud) colorful pictures that all coincide with one another. The depiction of the family of 3 is diverse. They almost always smile; you can feel the tender love coming off the pages. It shows all the little things we do as parents that seem so menial at the time but really are an expression of love and caring for our children. Our children are always watching in good times, and on rougher days; they absorb everything. I felt this book was a great depiction of everyday life, from bath time to playing, boo-boos, trips to the zoo, and mealtimes. I think everyone can find a little glimpse of their own family while reading about this one. The extra activities at the back of the book are a great opportunity for additional fun and learning. It keeps one engaged and really thinking about the story in more ways than surface level and is a good resource to come back to again and again.
