He understands what needs to be done at different times of the day and night.

About the Author

Tara Wilson Evans of Bellevue, Nebraska, is the author of four published titles, including Fun on the Farm with Dodi and Dee. Little Leo Loves to Count is the first book in the Little People series.Tara is a master quilter of over 25 years. She has served on the Friends Board at the International Quilt Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska and is the CEO of Community Quilting Center, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization. Through her organization, she and other experienced quilters teach the art of quilt making to young and old alike.
Award-winning artist and veteran of the Air Force National Guard, Maxine Thomas Davis was born in Meridian, Mississippi. She started her art journey at age six, drawing and painting on the walls of her parents' home. She eventually put her artistic pursuits on hold while she raised her family. Asked to create a mural for her church, her passion for art was reignited and she pursued a degree, studying fine arts and graphic design. Specializing in graphite pencil illustration, Maxine has illustrated ten books. She has three daughters and seven grandchildren.
