Shameen Anthanio-Williams is a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy and a Lieutenant Commander in the Coast Guard. She has held a variety of assignments in Marine Safety & Security, Naval Engineering, Acquisitions Management and completed post graduate school at The George Washington University. Born and raised in Bronx, New York, she attended the LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in Manhattan where her appreciation for creative expression flourished. Shameen, her husband Terence and two children; Savannah and TJ currently reside in Spencerville, Maryland. Little Erroll is her first children's book.
