About the Author

Cory Pechan Driver is a professor, preacher, and promoter of gentle, non-injurious church leadership. His goal is to help others foster healthy and life-giving love of Scripture, and the God and people who inspired it. He writes widely on intersections of gender, ethnicity, and migration in Scripture. Cory enjoys raising his three children with his partner, Sarah.

"Life Unsettled is a rich blend of honest spiritual autobiography, fresh biblical scholarship with a touch of midrash, and sensitive engagement with lived human experience in unsettled spaces. Whatever wilderness you wander, with this guidebook in your hands the compassionate companions and wise guides of Scripture, the Spirit, and the community of faith across time and space will walk with you." --William Gafkjen, bishop, Indiana-Kentucky Synod of the Evangelical Church in America

"Cory Driver teaches us, through guided reflection and meditation, how God is always with us-- whether we recognize God's presence or not--when our lives are turned around by life experiences. It is the Spirit which speaks God's love, grace, guidance, abundance, and forgiveness to us when we encounter life. Life Unsettled takes us on a surprising journey through Scripture seldom traveled to show us the way in our own wilderness wanderings, helping us to see the gift we have in wondering and wandering." --Suzanne Darcy Dillahunt, bishop, Southern Ohio Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
