About the Author

Ellen Fischer was born in St. Louis. Following graduation from Washington University, she taught children with special needs and then ESL at a Jewish Day School. She lives in Greensboro, North Carolina with her husband. They have three children.
Tiphanie Beeke earned a master's degree in illustration from the Royal College of Art in London and currently lives in France with her husband and three children. She enjoys the sunshine, the snow, illustrating books, and living with her noisy family.
