About the Author

Spencer Kope grew up just outside Bellingham, Washington, and spent his teenage years working in his father's body shop. A former Cold War-era Russian linguist and graduate of the Naval War College, he spent seventeen years working for various intelligence organizations, most notably the Office of Naval Intelligence. In 2004, he joined the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office and has served as their crime analyst since. He started writing when he was eighteen.
