About the Author

DK Yingst is a cartoonist and digital artist from southeast Louisiana and has an MFA in sequential art from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She created the New York Times bestselling graphic novel adaptation of Karen's Grandmothers by Ann M. Martin. DK loves cute coming-of-age stories, going for meandering hikes, and playing farming sims to relax. She lives in Alabama with her husband, their dog, Cookie, and their two cats, Koopa and Connie.
