About the Author

"It's an exclusive club that everyone can join" is the mission and mantra of Jo Ferrone. A born rebel of eight siblings, she is best known as the co-creator of Angela Anaconda and FidoDido, her homage to the ordinary humans living extraordinary lives - heroes for everyone. Drawn to explore she found her soulmates in dingy diners, cartoon creators drawing rooms and the backwoods of Oyster Bay, Long Island NY. A failed receptionist with abysmal typing skills, she nonetheless writes novels that reveal people as perfectly imperfect as we are. Her first book, a tale of a girl who turns into a PB&J sandwich before being eaten by a horse is of course, a 2nd grade masterpiece found only in her public school library. She resides in Miami, FL on the beach with an entourage of animal companions... and wouldn't have it any other way.
50-ft of brown paper unfurled with black sharpie scribbles, surrounded by candles bears Tabitha Rose's life story. Surrounded in community, she makes 'home' an inside-job wherever she goes. Compassionate, intuitive and deeply rooted to the meaning of legacy, she is committed to helping others put their Life to Paper. 'Energy can and should be used for the benefit of all' is her motto and storytelling gives her energy to build dreams (hers and others) upon. She is at her brightest in a room filled with souls and sugo, creating and sharing stories about life, perseverance and connection. Proudly sober, she is best known for making sure nobody gets left behind or forgotten... ever.
Flor is a Cuban-American independent author, storyteller, editor, singer, dreamer, and truth-seeker who has self-published two poetry collections, Perspective (and other poems) and The Language of Fungi and Flowers. Through her creativity, she has been able to inspire others to follow their dreams through art and purpose. Coming from a writing background with a degree in Communication (Journalism) from Nova Southeastern University and having worked three years as the copy editor and social media manager for The Current Newspaper, she is skilled in writing and editing and creating a variety of different things, from art and entertainment pieces to news and opinions pieces, to poetry, prose and fiction. Creativity is her strong suit, but she feels she is able to truly shine through her writing. Flor aims to spark others' love for art, life, and nature through her writings and her role as the lead singer for South Florida band Leather & Lace. Flor is passionate about traveling, creating art, music and just learning about the many different perspectives individuals and cultures can offer. Her love for life has inspired her, which she now seeks to inspire in others. Flor believes in the power of sharing stories, ideas, love and perspective. She wants others to know that their dreams are achievable if they put in the time and effort, and it's important to be yourself and follow your passions.
