About the Author

Kiersten Hall has been writing stories all her life... in her head. She is finally taking the time to put those stories down on paper for others to read. In 2015, she began with releasing I Do Fifteen Years of Wedding Misadventures - her humorous memoir filled with stories and mishaps from her career as a professional wedding videographer. The next year, a fictional 3-book series based on real people she has known over the years, began: Corner Confessions - A Novel (2016), The Lies We Live (2018), and the last book is due late 2020. Books scheduled for 2019 include Kiersten's first children's book (May/June) along with a non-fiction opinion book (July/August). Early 2020 sees the release of her second children's book about a pet octopus she once had (yes, an octopus.) In late 2020, along with the final round of secrets in her book series, she has another memoir planned. UPCOMING EVENTS: https: //www.khallbooks.com/calendar

Reviews

'I very seldom comment to authors about books. I feel my review does that, but this book is the exception to the rule. I laughed my socks off reading the book "I Do"! I have been married for almost 40 years and the book took me back to my wedding day. Thanks for making me laugh! (And cry?)' D.J. - Goodreads Review

'A great behind the scenes look at what can go right and go wrong with a wedding. I assumed there would be some funny stories told in this book, and there were, but oh my! I don't know how the author withstood all those years dealing with all the not so nice people. This is a great book to read if you're planning a wedding, just as a heads up for what can go wrong. For the most part, the stories were funny and some were very sweet. I guess it shows it really takes all kinds to make the world go around. I do recommend "I Do" just to read how very different people/couples react act, ignore, disregard requests, and so on, and expect everything photographed to be perfect. The author must have the patience of a saint. All in all, I looked forward to getting back to reading "I Do," and enjoyed it very much. ' G.B. - Online Review

'While every wedding is lovingly planned with great hopes and aspirations, the truth is ... EXACTLY as Kiersten describes in this book. Rare is the wedding which does not generate at least one amusing (or appalling) story among the contracted professionals.

As a veteran of 10+ years of wedding photography, I found myself nodding and trying to remember the names on the oh-so-many weddings in which my experience echoed these, and trying to identify those venues that were described, but not named.

If you're thinking of forging into a professional wedding service of any kind, READ THIS BOOK.
If you're thinking of planning a wedding (or for that matter any large event) READ THIS BOOK.
If you're thinking of attending a wedding, READ THIS BOOK!

Yeah, I'm serious! ' L.G. - Shafer, MN

'So happy I had a small wedding: ) Kirsten's writing is funny and I caught myself laughing out loud more than a few times. A quick read but well written and kept my interest. ' B.M. - Online Review

''Seriously, this book is beyond hilarious but has some real honesty behind the process of getting married and what to do and NOT do! I love how there were examples and I couldn't stop laughing because some stories given where like " oh no she didn't" seriously you MUST READ!!! It's funny that these are all real people Lordy Help them ... LOVED THIS BOOK and learned so much at the same time! ' Mrs. B - Online Review
