About the Author

Born in the UK in 1953, Steve Matthews migrated to Australia in 1985. After a successful career in commercial banking, he purchased a share in an industrial business before retiring at the age of 55 to write full time. Steve’s books for young, reluctant readers and his work in children’s literacy have been acknowledged in the NSW State Parliament and his adult books have mostly dealt with women’s issues.
