About the Author
DK Ryland is an author-illustrator and lifelong squirrel admirer who completed her film degree by making a documentary all about squirrels. She is also the creator of Giraffe Is Too Tall for This Book, which was chosen as a Target Book of the Month. DK lives with her super-awesome husband, two brilliant kids, and many, many pets in San Diego, where she enjoys visiting the squirrels at her local beach spot.
