She enjoys writing, discussing the importance of authentic diversity in children's literature, and spending time with her husband, Catrayel, and her daughter, Vivian. Robert Paul Jr. is an illustrator and character designer who was born in St. Lucia and raised in St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands. His ultimate calling is to help children lead fun, positive, and enriched lives through storytelling. He lives with his wife and daughter in Houston, Texas.
