About the Author
AMY RIGBY is a songwriter, musician and performer. Her most recent album The Old Guys was voted one of the top 100 albums of 2018 in the Pazz & Jop US music critics' poll, and single "The President Can't Read" was #1 in Rolling Stone's Real Life Top Ten, March 2019. She plays her songs all over the world and writes online at diaryofamyrigby.wordpress.com. She lives with her husband and sometime duet partner Wreckless Eric in New York's Hudson Valley. When she isn't touring, she pours beer and sells books at The Spotty Dog in Hudson.
Reviews

"...an instant classic." Big Takeover

"I'm beyond excited about Girl To City, a gorgeously written memoir that resounds with Rigby's signature vulnerability and rueful wit." -- Claire Dederer, author of New York Times bestselling memoir Poser: My Life In Twenty-Three Yoga Poses

"Amy Rigby writes the way she performs and sings, laced with insight, humor, self awareness, and above all, heart." -- Lenny Kaye, musician, producer, author

"It's a big season for music memoirs, especially by women...The question is: Will any of them turn out to be as good as Girl To City? Philadelphia Inquirer

"If every musician with a story to tell could write a book this great, ghostwriters would be out of a job...You can feel the distortion, smell the damp, see the clothes, hear the guitars." Goldmine
