About the Author

Ezra Pound (1885-1972) was one of the most influential poets of the 20th Century and perhaps the key figure in defining and promoting Anglo-American poetic modernism. The Cantos - an epic poem written over 50 years - is his major poetic work.
Harriet Zinnes is Professor Emerita of English of Queens College of the City University of New York. Her many books of poetry include DRAWING ON THE WALL (2002), WHITHER NONSTOPPING (2005), LIGHT LIGHT OR THE CURVATURE OF THE EARTH (2009), WEATHER IS WHITHER (2012), and HARRIET ZINNES: NEW AND SELECTED POEMS (2014), all from Marsh Hawk Press. She is also contributing editor of The Hollins Critic and a contributing writer as art critic of NY Arts Magazine.
