Denise McGowan Tracy was born in a magical place called Chicago, in a time before cell phones, when tablets were made of paper. She lives a fairy-tale life that includes spending time with wonderfully talented people who can sing, act, dance and tell stories. And, of course, some villains and plot twists. Many of these talented people are her very good friends, so Denise spends countless hours in theaters watching make-believe come to life. When she is not attending theater or performing on a cabaret stage, she is producing events and entertainment, including the stage adaptation of this book, Eleanor's Very Merry Christmas Wish: The Musical. She is currently living happily ever after with her husband, Ed, in their castle along Lake Michigan where they watch the moon and stars and make their wishes every night.
