About the Author

Mark Russell is the GLAAD and Eisner Award-winning writer behind The Flintstones, Second Coming, Billionaire Island, and Superman: Space Age, as well as many other comic book series. He is also the author of two books.

Paul Cornell has written episodes of Elementary, Doctor Who, Primeval, Robin Hood and many other TV series, including his own children's show, Wavelength. He's worked for every major comics company, including his creator-owned series Saucer State for IDW and This Damned Band for Dark Horse, and runs for Marvel and DC on Batman and Robin, Wolverine and Young Avengers. He's the writer of the Lychford rural fantasy novellas from Tor.com Publishing. He's won the BSFA Award for his short fiction, an Eagle Award for his comics, a Hugo Award for his podcast and shares in a Writer's Guild Award for his Doctor Who. He's the co-host of Hammer House of Podcast.
Alisa Kwitney was an editor at DC Comics/Vertigo and is the Eisner-nominated author of graphic novels, romantic women's fiction and urban fantasy. She was one of the authors of A Flight of Angels, which made YALSA's Top Ten List for Great Graphic Novels for Teens, and the YA graphic novel Token, named a highlight of the Minx imprint by PW. Alisa has an MFA from Columbia University. Her thesis, Till the Fat Lady Sings, a comedy of manners about college and eating disorders, made The New York Times' new and noteworthy in paperback list. The first issue of her latest comic book series, Mystik U, is coming out November '17 from DC Comics. Her first YA novel, Cadaver & Queen, will be coming out with Harlequin Teen in February '18.
Peter Snejbjerg draws drawings for a living and has done so for many years. He has worked for a number of American and international comic book publishers. He lives in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Linda Medley has illustrated children's books for Putnam, Grosset &
Dunlap, Houghton-Mifflin, and Western Publishing. She has worked in
the comics industry since 1987 as a writer, penciller, inker, painter,
and colorist; her work can be found in everything from Justice League
to The Galactic Girl Guides. She is best known as the creator of the
Eisner Award-winning fantasy series Castle Waiting.
Rick Geary has been a freelance cartoonist and illustrator for over 45 years. His illustrations and graphic stories have appeared in National Lampoon, MAD, The New York Times, Heavy Metal, Disney Adventures, and many other publications. His graphic novels include the biographies J. Edgar Hoover and Trotsky, as well as nine volumes in the series "A Treasury of Victorian Murder," and six volumes in "A Treasury of 20th Century Murder," the latest of which is Black Dahlia, for which he received the National Cartoonists Society graphic novel award for 2016. Rick and his wife Deborah live in Carrizozo, New Mexico.
