About the Author
This slope-shouldered industry veteran was a long-running writer on DC's Legion of Super-Heroes, a founding editor at their Vertigo imprint, and the proud writer of their worst-selling, award-losing series Hourman. He has since written enough major characters to fill one of those hyper-populated super-hero posters where you don't know who to look at first. Today he happily writes and edits AHOY Comics from his Ditkoesque office in Downtown Syracuse, NY.
DEAN MOTTER, artist/writer is best known as creator, artist and writer for the independent comics sensation Mister X. He has written a number of titles for Ahoy Comics, DC Comics and Marvel Comics. His acclaimed Terminal City graphic novel was nominated for both Eisner and Kurtzman Awards and he is particularly known for his graphic novel The Prisoner: Shattered Visage, based on the 60's British TV series. In recent years he has illustrated several non-fiction comic books for the David S. Wyman Institute for Holocaust Studies, now collected as Whistleblowers: Four Who Fought to Expose the Holocaust to America.
Mark Russell is the GLAAD and Eisner Award-winning writer behind The Flintstones, Second Coming, Billionaire Island, and Superman: Space Age, as well as many other comic book series. He is also the author of two books.
Stuart Moore is a writer, a book editor, and an award-winning comics editor. His books include the Marvel Crisis Protocol novels Target: Kree and Into the Dark Dimension (Aconyte Books)) and three volumes of the New York Times bestselling series The Zodiac Legacy (Disney Press), cowritten with Stan Lee. Stuart's comics include the original sci-fi series Captain Ginger, Highball (both AHOY Comics), and EGOs (Image), as well as Deadpool the Duck (Marvel) and Firestorm (DC). His other writing includes prose and comics set in the universes of Stargate, The Transformers, Conan the Barbarian, Redwall, and Star Trek.
Frank Cammuso is an Eisner-nominated cartoonist, the creator of the popular middle school graphic novel series Knights of the Lunch Table, and the illustrator of several beginning reader graphic books, including Otto's Orange Day. He lives in Syracuse, New York.
