Reviews
"To understand Hawaiian cuisine, you need to have an appreciation for community and family. It's never about the food, but the people and the conversation. Ippy has brought together food, culture, and nostalgia in a way that leaves you feeling as if your grandmother just gave you a cuddle." —Chef Jason Roberts
"Chef Ippy wrote a simple cookbook with his own memories included with the local island favorite recipients. If you have off-island family like me, they will love reminiscing about home and ohana, and making his easy recipes. Mahalo Nui." — Michelle
"Really liked how there is information about Hawaii and Polynesian cooking, including timelines and influence. The photos and colorful pictures are also a plus. We hired chef Ippy for a private family meal and loved his cooking, playing and attention to details. Mahalo Ippy!" — Stacy
