Reviews

"Solid scientific browsing." - Kirkus Reviews

"Each two page-spread compares and contrasts seemingly opposite pronouncements, using concrete examples and colorful, stylish (and stylized) illustrations...This book would appeal to readers who love almanacs and Guinness World Records-types compendiums!" - Susan Harari, Youth Services Book Review

"The text valiantly serves up accessible explanations of terminology in virtually every field of science." - Kirkus Reviews
