About the Author

Christy Mihaly has written more than 25 books for young readers. She covers science, technology, public policy, and environmental issues. Christy delves into the wonders of water in her 2021 book, Water: A Deep Dive of Discovery. She lives and writes by a babbling brook in Vermont.
Sue Heavenrich writes about science and environmental issues and is passionate about insects. She has followed ants in the Arizona desert, tagged bumblebees in the Rocky Mountains, and tallied insects on Cocos Island, Costa Rica.
