About the Author
Raluca Narita was born in Romania and grew up in Southern California and West Texas. She currently resides in College Station and loves to travel in her free time. Raluca is the author of The Chronicles of the Underworld Series. She is an aspiring physician, passionate about medicine and the healthcare field. When she was younger, she loved reading retellings of fairytales and stories about Greek gods and goddesses. Opening a book to the first page was like casting off and sailing to an unknown land. As she immersed herself in an imaginative world through reading, she discovered a passion for writing stories. As a full-time MD/MBA student at Texas A&M University, Raluca writes fantasy novels as one of her favorite hobbies.

"Dark Magic is structured as a realms-crossing adventure, a dark mystery." BookLife

"The action has a cinematic quality, full of magic fire and ice, sword fights, and even a big battle between armies, adding a larger-than-life element to the emotional conflicts and political posturing of gods and monsters." -Kirkus Reviews

"A complex story full of nail-biting scenes that leave the reader wanting more." Rose L. Geer-Robbins, author of The Writer and the Librarian

"The most powerful thing about Dark Magic is the author's firm hand in creating suspense. She doles it out masterfully, with questions running through your mind, and then she feeds you the answers so skillfully that you will be wanting more. By the end of the book, you will still be drawn into the plot by sheer curiosity and powerful storytelling, eagerly anticipating the follow-up." Mimie Odigwe, Readers' Favorite

"A fantastic plot, with plenty of twists and turns that keep you on your toes, as you never know where Lucifer will pop up next and what further chaos he's creating." K.C. Finn, author of The Mind's Eye

"I fell in love with this book. I enjoyed the writing style and creative take on mythology, and I will be looking out for more of Narita's works." Miche Arendse, Readers' Favorite
