Dance of the Electric Hummingbird: An Ordinary Woman's Accidental Journey to Enlightenment, the Supernatural, and Rock Star Sammy Hagar
Wandering into a bar in Mexico with her husband, Pat Walker is hoping to enjoy a rock concert by a famous singer previously unknown to her--but something frightening and wonderful happens instead. In the midst of the cheering fans and screaming guitars, she is lifted out of her body and becomes engulfed in a white light and a feeling of ecstasy. She stumbles upon her soul, and God. Soon after this experience, more stange things begin to happen to her--she starts having psychic revelations, glimpses of past lives, and contact with angels and spirits. Fearing the loss of her sanity, Pat's search for an explantation leads her to international recording star Sammy Hagar (former lead singer of Van Halen), who takes it upon himself to help her decipher the meaning of these supernatural experiences.
In this true story, Pat struggles to maintain her roles of middle-class wife and mom, while simultaneaously being thrust into the explosive world of celebrities, sex, and rock 'n' roll. She confronts the incredible power of her mind and spirit, and soon begins to reevaluate her perception of reality, and the meaning of life.

I know Pat's journey of mystical transformations will inspire you. Enjoy the journey."
--Sammy Hagar "Sgarlat Publicity""Society sells us the idea that we could ever be alone, unworthy, and powerless. Patricia Walker shared those beliefs--until life blasted her free. Her story shows what can happen when you get those beliefs out of your way."
--Frank De Marco "Sgarlat Publicity""Pat Walker's memoir is a joy. It is Eat, Pray, Love for the common woman--you know, the vast majority of us who can't travel the world because we're stuck at home, doing laundry, and driving kids around. I laughed out loud, but I also discovered that serious transformation can occur when one is open to it. In other words, it gives me hope."
--Laura Pritchett "Sgarlat Publicity""Dance of the Electric Hummingbird is rich with symbolism, feeling, and message. It's alive with it. It gave me goosebumps. Some of the scenes just took my breath away. Such a powerful, powerful story. It's about finding God and we all want that in our lives."
