About the Author: Anthony M.J. Maranise is an instructor of Religion at St. Ann Catholic School - Bartlett (a suburb of Memphis, TN.), a board certified chaplain, an Oblate of the Order of Saint Benedict, and the author of five additional books as well as a number of academic pieces. Simultaneously in pursuit of his Ed.D. in interdisciplinary leadership at Creighton University (Omaha, NE.), he is also working towards a Certificate in Sports Culture and Leadership from Baylor University's Faith & Sport Institute and is a fellow with The New Memphis Institute. As a 20+ year cancer survivor, Anthony remains to be a dedicated philanthropist for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital where he was also treated.
Melissa M. Hudson, MD is a member of the faculty, Director of the Cancer Survivorship Division, Co-Leader of the Cancer Control & Survivorship Program, and The Charles E. Williams Endowed Chair of Oncology-Cancer Survivorship at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Melissa Hudson obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Education. She appeared on national television, various radio talk shows, and was featured in an International Women magazine. She is an educator in the public school system, a widow, and has one son.
