Reviews

"Crêpes by Suzette speaks to a child's heart, or stomach, since its subject is the eternal one of eating pancakes....The book delights." --Adam Gopnik from The New York Times

"Oh la la! A sweet treat to travel the streets of Paris alongside Suzette...in snazzy picture-book style." --Publisher's Weekly, starred review

"Francophiles will delight in Wellington's Paris, shown as a beautiful city filled with historic buildings, gardens, and happy people eating Suzette's crepes as she sells them from her pushcart in parks and squares and on wide boulevards. Readers will enjoy this original and appealing concept book that mixes art appreciation with a travelogue." --School Library Journal

This little gem has myriad uses from a simple story to enjoy, to art history class, and units on French culture." --Children's Literature
