Reviews

Excellent information, clearly presented. With a lot of simple, nutrient dense recipes.
I don't know what recipe to make first!
Ok, I'm on the anti-inflammatory bandwagon, I could talk for days about why inflammation is at the core of so many dis-eases and imbalances. But what does an anti- inflammatory diet look like? It looks like the recipes in this book!
I'm a certified herbalist and the health related books I recommend have to fit in my definition of real health: living your life to the fullest in all the ways you desire. There's no way around controlling inflammation as a central piece of this.
I'm very excited for Ruth Clark and am totally cheering her on with her book launch. But honestly, she's the real deal. I got my hands on this book this morning and I've already read enough of it to know that it's a keeper - and will be an amazing resource for my clients.

A personal nutritionist... in a book
I thought this would be a cookbook but it is so much more. Ruth Clark has synthesized all of her nutrition expertise by creating this guide for making healthy (and happy!) food choices. The science is clearly explained, and the food lists are handy for grocery shopping. Helpful ideas on incorporating spices and reducing sugar. Her recipes reflect the modern palate with simple ingredients and elegant combinations. I enthusiastically recommend this book. I will make the guacamole tonight! Thank you!

A personal success story thanks to the great advice in this book.
I've been a client of Ruth's for several years and have benefited tremendously from her expertise. With multiple degenerative autoimmune conditions and a complex medical history, I'd about given up on feeling even a tiny bit like my old self. Ruth's compassion, pragmatic advice and fantastic recipes WORK! Her book is full of accessible and realistic tools to help anyone gain better health, no matter how sick or what their lifestyle choices and limitations may be. Highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to be healthier and feel better!
