Scott Dittloff, Ph.D., is a professor in the Department of Government and International Affairs at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Dittloff's expertise is in comparative democratization, international relations, and comparative politics. In 2015, he was honored with the Incarnate Word Presidential Teaching Award, which recognizes extraordinary dedication to teaching that encourages student engagement. Dr. Dittloff serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Social Sciences and the British Journal of Applied Science and Technology. He is a former member of the College Board's CLEP Social Sciences and History test development committee.
