Description"Hands down a standing ovation from me!" --Suzanne Park, author of So We Meet Again, on Here for the Drama When an American interning at a fashion house in Rome butts heads with her professor's surly son, sparks fly! With her thirties rapidly approaching and a mountain of student debt looming over her, Violet Luciano's dream of finishing design school and working in fashion has cost her everything. So when she lands an internship at an up-and-coming fashion brand in Rome, she brings her A game to Italy. With nothing left to lose, Violet plans to win the competition among the interns for the ultimate prize--a job at a New York label. But when a coffee run goes wrong and Violet accidentally destroys a stranger's laptop, all of the apology Americanos in the world won't help her. Because it turns out that the man from the café is Matteo, her professor's eternally grumpy son, who thinks she's a clumsy American...and maybe a stalker. Their animosity (and undeniable chemistry) grows as together they're forced to face a summer of chic parties, adventures through Rome and sharing a home...with the person they can't stand the most. The more time she spends with him, the more distracted she finds herself. With her chance to win the competition slipping out of her grasp, Violet has to decide whether to say ciao to Matteo--or ciao to her dreams.

About the Author
KATE BROMLEY writes romantic comedies and contemporary romance. She lives in New York City with her husband, son, and her somewhat excessive collection of romance novels. (It's not hoarding if it's books, right?) She was a preschool teacher for several years and now focuses full-time on combining her two great passions--writing swoon-worthy love stories and making people laugh. She is also the author of Talk Bookish to Me and Here for the Drama.
"In Here for the Drama, Bromley's signature humor and witty banter stand out in this theater-themed, drama-filled, romantic coming of age story. Hands down a standing ovation from me!" -Suzanne Park, author of Loathe at First Sight and So We Meet Again "Bromley's snappy dialogue and sassy banter never let up in this funny, charming, sexy and all-round fabulous rom-com. I can't think of a couple I have recently enjoyed as much as Winnie and Liam. Their interactions and dialogue are exquisite. Not to be too dramatic - I LOVED it. -Pernille Hughes, author of Ten Years "Here for the Drama drew me in instantly with its snarky wit and refreshingly sweet and nerdy hero. This tale of love, friendship, and the pursuit of dreams mixes sizzling chemistry with heaps of A+ banter into a read that is sure to charm readers!"--Anna E. Collins, author of Love At First Spite "HERE FOR THE DRAMA by Kate Bromley is equal parts heartfelt and hilarious. Taking us on a journey across the pond, Bromley has crafted a sharp, witty cast of characters you can't help but fall for. With a relatable heroine and a dreamy love interest, this romance is a true ode to finding your voice, following your dreams, and writing your own happy ending."--Amy Lea, author of Set On You "Bromley's Here for the Drama is an absolute delight. Deftly wielding quick witted humor while plucking tender heartstrings, Bromley pens a romp through London that captivates. It's impossible not to root for Winnie, who strives to achieve her playwriting dreams when true love appears and complicates everything. Full of laughs and tears, this is a must read!" --Jenn McKinlay, NYT bestselling author of Wait for It "I could feel the smile on my face stretch wider and wider the longer I read Here For the Drama. Delightful, romantic, and just plain fun -- I absolutely loved this romance." -Elizabeth Everett, Author of A Perfect Equation and A Lady's Formula for Love "There's drama both on and off the stage in this cute rom-com from Bromley... Plays, plotting, and puppy love amount to a sweet production especially suited for theatre lovers."--Publishers Weekly "Bromley follows Talk Bookish to Me with another delightful rom-com, a jaunt around London involving dates with strangers and an unconventional theater production sweetened by tail-wagging Ollie, who has a way of bringing folks together. Bromley's joyful romance is sure to please."--Booklist "Bromley has written a wonderfully engaging novel with snappy narration from Winnie, and she deftly balances moments of humor with depth by providing her characters with deep backstories and complicated emotions... An entertaining, romantic story of a woman's personal and professional coming-of-age."--Kirkus
