Reviews
Charlie sets out to fearlessly represent both the smaller kids in the world and the eyeglass wearing ones (I don't have a Venn diagram in front of me right now, but I suspect that there's a fair amount of overlap between these two categories). But it wasn't until I started reading some of the selections of these books that I fell in love with Charlie and his odd little world - A Fuse 8 Productions.
Another triumphant adventure for this ever-striving hero to the bespectacled and undersized - Kirkus.
The adventures of Carlitos are stories of childhood innocence, joy, friendship, school, and more. These books will bring laughs to readers of all ages - Youth Services Book Review.
Underscored with the theme of friendship, emotions, feelings, and self-esteem, "Charlie's Great Big Backpack" by the team of author/storyteller Margarita del Mazo and artist/illustrator Guridi, is a fun read from start to finish. While especially and unreservedly recommended for family, daycare care center, preschool, elementary school, and community library Life Lessons picture book collections for children ages 3-7 - Midwest Book Reviews-Children's Bookwatch.
