About the Author
Van G. Garrett is a professor of African American Studies and Literature at the University of Houston. A graduate of the New York's Fashion Institute of Technology's Sneaker Essentials program, Van is an award-winning author whose work is appreciated around the world. His debut picture book, Kicks (Versify/HMH), is slated for fall 2022 publication. He can be reached at www.vanggarrettpoet.com.
Ran Walker is the author of twenty-one books. He is the winner of the 2019 Indie Author of the Year and 2019 BCALA Fiction Ebook Awards. He teaches creative writing at Hampton University and lives with his wife and daughter in Virginia. He can be reached via his website, www.ranwalker.com.
