"This is an utterly wonderful book. A real page-turner, with one 'wow' after another, whether it's about the lengths of animals' tongues and tails, or the seven types of poo. And for a statistician, it's great to read a book that deals with magnitudes and comparisons, with the bonus of imaginative and engaging graphics." - Professor David Speigelhalter

"The perfect antidote to tablets and TV! My kids sit down with this captivating book for hours (usually with me peering over their shoulders)." - Dan Snow

"Don't be fooled by the age category: This oversized, colorful book provides an immersive experience for any reader, even adults." - Jaime Herndon, American Scientist
