Description
"Groundbreaking. Here are the voices of women whose wisdom and experience have much to say to other women and to health-care professionals about what it means to live with breast cancer. And I mean live. These are women who live busy, productive, meaningful lives as they confront breast cancer. At once practical and philosophical, these active, professional women share their experiences, knowledge and feelings generously." -- Sandra MorganDirector, Center for Study of Women in Society, University of Oregon
"A very insightful and dynamic book! As an oncology nurse and professional woman, it spoke both to me and for me. This book emphasizes beautifully the need for understanding and compassion for any woman dealing with breast cancer who desires to pursue her goals, whether professional or personal, and to lead as normal a life as possible." -- Jo Ann Vergnolle, RN, OCN
