About the Author

Catherine C. Bastedo spent her childhood in Marathon, Canada, near the boreal forest north of Lake Superior. She received her BA from the University of Toronto and her MA in Canadian studies from Carleton University, Ottawa, specializing in French-Canadian literature. She held executive positions in the Canadian government, culminating in her appointment as executive director of the International Council for Canadian Studies. She then followed her passion for helping people through energy work, becoming a Reiki master, assisting clients, teaching, leading retreats, volunteering as a wellness coach for cancer survivors, and writing. Catherine helps people tap into their inner resources to fulfill their dreams and follow their life path. She assists them to manage challenges on all levels--physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. In her writing she draws on her intuitive abilities, her connection with nature, and her strong family ties. Catherine lives near the woods of the Gatineau Hills in Quebec, Canada.
