About the Author

Toni Morrison (1931-2019) was Robert F. Goheen Professor Emerita at the Center for Creative and Performing Arts at Princeton University and author of Sula, Song of Solomon, Beloved, Paradise, The Bluest Eye, and other novels. She received the National Book Critics Circle Award, the Pulitzer Prize, and the 1993 Nobel Prize in Literature.
